The Department of General Services (DGS) is opening its Darbytown Road warehouse to the public for a one-day surplus sale offering steep discounts on office furniture, building materials, and unique items from state facilities. The sale will take place on Saturday, May 30, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1910 Darbytown Road, Richmond, Va. 23231. Cash and credit cards will be accepted. All items are cash-and-carry and buyers are responsible for moving and transporting their purchases. A wide variety of items will be available, including office chairs, tables, desks, sofas, metal filing cabinets and lockers, clothing, sunglasses, and more. The warehouse sale will also feature an expanded selection of surplus goods, including building materials, jewelry, hats, and grab-bag lots, offering shoppers plenty of additional items to explore.
