We do a DIGITAL SIGN UP SHEET for our sales (for the first 50-75 people or so that sign up!) After the first 45 minutes there is usually not a line but that first 45 minutes or so can be rather busy! If you are interested in coming to the 9am opening please fill out the following link: coming soon! Please Note: Due to our coverage company we cannot help carry large/heavy items out for our customers. Please bring assistance to help with your items. Please bring your own packing materials and transport materials, if necessary - boxes, dolly, hand trucks, etc. bring help to load large items. We will have some newspaper/bubble wrap and some bags for your convenience. Please bring blankets to protect surroundings if bringing larger items out. Usually, there are fragile pieces in the home. We are not responsible for accidents. We will let as many people at once in the home without compromising safety. NOTE: If you know us and our company, you know that we will always help you in any way to make your experience with us a smooth and happy one!CONDITIONPlease note that the items we are selling are preowned, used and second-hand. While we endeavor to do our best to ensure that we describe any flaws, we cannot guarantee the condition of items and are not responsible for defects that are missed / not included in our description.All items are offered as-is, please check your items thoroughly before you leave with them. The Friends of the Plainville Public Library will hold a Library Discard Sale from January 24-31 in the conference room during normal library hours. There will be a $5 bag sale on January 31st. CASH ONLY. The sale will include adult and young adult Fiction, Non-Fiction, Large Print, Graphic Novels, CDs, DVDs, Books-on-CD, and children's books. The prices are children's books 50 cent, mass market/trade/hardcover/Graphic Novels/ CDs/DVDs/Books-on-CD $1. CASH ONLY. The hours are Saturdays 9-1, Mondays & Tuesdays 9-5, Wednesdays & Thursdays 10-8, and Friday 1-5. (PICTURES WILL BE POSTED AFTER SETUP ON THE 23RD.) Also available, but not included in the bag sale, will be our on-going book sale in Friends Hallway, Best Sellers and books of gift giving quality, seasonal and multi-pack puzzles, and games. Donations of items may be dropped off at the library during normal library hours throughout the year.
