Founded in 1988, Atlanta Construction Equipment, known as ACE, INC. is a long-established underground utility and fiber-optic contractor that served the southeastern United States for more than 35 years, working primarily on projects for AT&T and related telecom partners. Established by brothers Brad and Steve Edmonds, ACE specialized in the installation, maintenance and repair of underground conduit systems for fiber-optic cable mainly by open trench. The company became particularly known for its ability to perform high-precision, in-town work within compact urban footprints, where coordination, safety, and efficiency were critical. Roughly half of ACE’s work involved maintenance and repair, with the remaining half focused on new infrastructure installation. As a result, the equipment offered in this auction reflects a complete, job-ready contractor operation, capable of supporting everything from right-of-way clearing and trenching to fiber installation, traffic control, and final asphalt and sidewalk restoration with attention on OSHA compliance.
