We are pleased to present an exciting and notable collection from the private home of longtime Triangle collectors behind the former Nowell’s Contemporary Furniture. With deep roots in North Carolina’s modernist and design community, the Nowells’ personal archive reveals decades-long relationships within the region’s furniture, fine art, and import circles. Comprehensive item listing below.
PLEASE NOTE: we do NOT have staff onsite to help you load items. This is a small, family-run sale and you must load your own items. We will have some packing materials on hand, but please bring your own if you are able. The house is ONLY accessible by stairs. Please enter through the back sliding doors only. We ask that you do not park on the side lawn or gravel drive- parking is available on residential streets nearby. Provided shoe covers available at the entrance and we would very much appreciate it if you would use them, unless you are physically unable to do so. Thank you! We will hand out numbers at 8am.
