Art in Fairhope

Join us for a charming Spring Fairhope sale. This contemporary cottage houses the collection of Fairhope resident, art critic, and curator Mimi Detering. Mimi and her deceased husband Hermann Detering embodied an academic, postmodern and deconstructive approach to art. His video, "Natural Persuasion," was a first in the field of low-stress herd management. This week, selections of Hermann and Mimi's photography and art collection are available at our Fairhope estate sale. Man Ray, George Tice, Marini, Robert Rose, Robert Gordy... and their private library focused on pre-columbian, Mexican and Texas related books, paper and art will be available.
